Not Enough Resolve

False Prophet Ronald Weinland skipped his normal post-feast vacation this year, returning from Australia directly to Cincinnati to give yesterday's sermon. He reiterated his plans to travel to Europe for the third time this year, although he hasn't booked his trip yet. Tentative plans are to the UK in late November and mainland Europe in early December.

The title of yesterday's sermon was "Resolve with Zeal" with the promise that this would be the first in a long series. The false prophet reminded his sheep that many would not be still attending if he had not "been permitted" to reveal the fiftieth "truth" back in June. Apparently they're still not bled dry financially since he accused them of lacking resolve.

The "truth" goes from God to Christ to Ron. This happens even during conversations, with God "giving Ron the knowing". But no scripture to back this up -- you'd think something could be made to text-proof this claim.

To build up their resolve he put out a stick followed by a carrot. The Spokesman Witness said that for sure only two are sealed (the Witlesses) and beyond that might be only a few. For the carrot, he said that those who followed him would live through the Great Tribulation into the millennium.

Weinland claimed that the greatest battles are yet to come. Spiritual battles, with the "beings" stirred up even more since the feast. Perhaps he had some correspondence from the IRS awaiting his return.

I thought the sealing of the 144,000 was on the 30th of September?!?!?!

That is correct. Or actually 9/30 was the 2nd sealing, the first one that didn't happen was Feb 2.

But per ILFPRW's kooky theology, the 144,000 include a number of people throughout human history, so a limited number of slots are available for those still alive. I don't know that he's ever mentioned a specific number of open slots.

OMG!

It amazes me that people still listen or follow this nut!

Yes but even those who died in the past still should have been sealed on the offical day of the sealing, correct?

They don't get sealed when they die. From what I understand all "seal-ees" are to be sealed at the same time, so all 144,000 slots should be filled. If one got sealed then all should have been sealed. It is the "sealing of the 144,000", not the "sealing of some people for now".

Or am I missing something?!?!?

Yes, that's what ILFPRW preaches, all 144,000 dead and alive were sealed on Feb 2, then again on Sept 30.

His point was that there's no guarantee that his followers are really sealed, they have to remain zealous.
