Happy Birthday Ronald Weinland

Yesterday, False Prophet Ronald Weinland was in the Belgium/Netherlands area. Somehow his Cincinnati area elder Ralph Dowd found the resources to make yet another trip to follow Ron. Wayne Matthews and wife Christine from Australia were there as well, despite the fact that he was recently looking for employment.

Yesterday was also Ron's 60th birthday. Ron thinks he won't see his 63rd in his present body as he's scheduled to be resurrected from the streets of Jerusalem at sundown prior to the 27th of May, 2012.

In a moment of irony, he talked about nutcases. Weinland was all upset about being criticized for planning to attend the ideaCity luncheon on the Sabbath of June 20th. I don't think he was referring to one of his blogging critics either. Rather I believe that it was one of his members. He was so upset that he lost his place several times and had to be brought on track by someone in the audience. He mentioned this criticism more than once, and warned that it wasn't wise to criticize God's prophet, not a smart thing to do. Would bring things upon yourself to do that.

Hopefully the member critic reads my blog and will realize that he should not worry. Because here I am blogging away 23 weeks after Weinland issued a death curse against his critics.

My Ronald Weinland Summary Page has a new URL. It had been hosted at googlepages, but Google has decided to shut down that service. Thanks to Jack Said and Ambassador Watch for mentioning the new URL.

I just ran across this quote of Hitler's from Mein Kampf, it made me think of how cult followers react to the stories their leaders tell them.

"because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper stata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily, and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods. It would never come into their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously."

Hahaha the sheeple are getting restless Weinland!!

As Dill Weed likes to say, tick tock.

I'd rather pay Znaimer four thousand bucks, to see the ideaCity crowd reduce Ron to his constituent parts, then pay tithes or special offerings in any church of god, anywhere, ever again.

My understanding of IdeaCity is that the speakers discuss their topic in thier own time slot without interuption by the others or, supposedly, the audiance. With that rule-frame there should be no real ridacule of Ron's philosophy while the show is running... that is not tatking into account audiance murmuring and fellow speakers background discussions...

Even so with so many bright bulbs present the audiance can not help but notice the dim bulb in the group.

Will this be broadcast or does the rest of the world have to wait for news stories? If it was not broadcast it would seem rather silly as only 400+/- people would hear/see it and it would not have the impact on Canada (US ?) that everyone would want... especially Ron.

Since they're charging $4000 admission at the door, I doubt it will be broadcast live. There may be a DVD for sale in a year or two.

It's a closed conference. Only those with money to burn will be there. I guess popularity and enlightenment comes with a price. I believe Ron claimed that IdeaCity somehow fulfills one of his thunders that he is growing in popularity.

If Ron is smart he'll limit himself to general end time talk. The kind of vague hokum-pokum scary, wars, famine, etc. If he gets into his specific claims, the sniggering will start.

I'd like to hear what he says, but I wouldn't pay 4 dollars for it, much less 4 thousand.

I bet he comes back saying things like, "They are so blind. They can't understand God's truth." We're so priveldged as God's church, yada, yada, yada.

Some people just enjoy poking at a whacko. I know I couldn't resist. Others may question Ron out of genuine interest. Either way, Ron, who seems insecure will probably not take kindly to this. He'll see it as doubting. Hopefully, he won't get set off and torch the buffet table.

To me the real interesting thing is Ron's delusion is going to be challenged by forward thinking optimists, people who don't believe the world is going to end in 3 years. This is going to put pressure on Ron to maintain his delusion (or belief in his con) for himself.

I suspect there will be more loud affirmations that he is God's prophet. (Heh, heh, heh) Sigh, I just enjoy those. They make me laugh. Sometimes, I listen to them more than once.

You can almost hear his desperation to maintain his belief that he is a prophet. Then, of course, there is keeping up the belief of the sheeples.

The more time that passes the more pressure Ron feels, the more it will show in his sermons. It will be interesting. I don't believe a person can successfully back away from the claims he has made.

Is that the way the IdeaCity works? Do others get to ask questions/challenge the speakers on thier ideas/theories/proofs?
If they do it could be a hum-dinger of a night, if not then snickering might be the order of the day?

DILL: "I don't believe a person can successfully back away from the claims he has made."

Uh... is that not exactly what Ron has been doing for over 1 year now? He's backed away from many a claim by simply not talking about them and the sheeples are still there for him, so I gather he is doing it successfully (at least to them)?
Of course Ron can not be successful with basic intelligence level people (or higher). That is why I would like to hear the narratives of the IdeaCity happenings as with only 400+ in attendance it seems that there will not be word of happenings without TV coverage or articles written?

Whisper,

I should have been clearer. There will not be people challenging him from the audience (dang!). They get 20 uninterupted minutes.

The challenge I believe will come from Ron being in and around people who will view him as a kook - albeit in a disguised (as much as they can, manner). Questions and comments are bound to occur when people are mingling.

Also, Ron will, I believe be listening to other speakers - other speakers who aren't living in his delusion. This will challenge his delusion or his con, whichever it is.

So, the challenge will be indirect, unless people get to questioning him, which I could see happening... nevertheless, it will be taxing in two possible senses, faking it or in having his delusional beliefs challenged by an oblivious, unconcerned world. The financial crisis bit may not play so well and that was the strongest argument he had going in...

Ron's having to maintain his charade or having reality contradict him will be the challenge he faces internally

Second, he did back away from his original timeline - but he still stuck to its limiting and disproveable features... like the supposed second trumpet and ALL the other ones... Ron's 2nd timeline will be utterly disproven, by my estimates, around Sept this year because that's the halfway point.

I am looking at this from the perspective of: When is Ron invalidated by his own words?

Because when he is and knows he is, he is going to have to face up to a big problem - revising his story. Some seem to think this will be easy. I don't think so, because how can he have any credibility at all then considering the massiveness of his errors and the certitude with which he expressed them?

Anyone, aware of his history after that, who continues to follow him, deserves him as a prophet.

My interest is what is going on with Ron and in Ron's head - things one can surmize based on events and his reaction to them.

All I am saying is that Ron will be presented with some problems by Idea City and by the deadlines he has imposed on himself. We can just sit back and enjoy the show. There are bound to be some good chuckles and a 'falling away' soon.

Thanks my man!
I did not know there would be "mingling". In such a case I would expect others to avoid ol Ron like the plague incarnate when he casually states the end is nigh and all need to listen and follow Gods last prophet, in the flesh mind you, and End Time Witness... it just aint gonna go over well me thinks? :-)

As for Ron failing, this has already happened. But all, as usual, is relative. He's failed to the likes of you and I but he has not failed to his sheeples. Human desire for protection and understanding will always trump logic and reason if they are brought into conflict with one another within a person. But of course, as you well know, there is a breaking point far down the path where the path leads right over a cliff. Is that cliff near or far on the path today? Dunno... But I hope you are correct for the majority of Ron's Sheeples, for thier sake and ours. Ron is false and is hurting many in the long run by giving out re-assurance in the short run, false re-assurance at that.
