Ronald Weinland's followers believe that he speaks for God, despite the failures of his prophecies, timeline changes, and contradictions. Faith in one man with unproved and disproven claims trumps all logic and reason for them. Some people prefer to avoid doing their own thinking, turning it over to others such as Ron Weinland.
I have to credit Dixon Cartwrite with this funny....In a conversation we had:SCMassageTherapy [9:52 PM]: well God says Ron is cracking up. He does think it's funny that his wife is the other witness , yet silent. Cartwrite [9:52 PM]: She probably wants to enter the witness-protection program before she'll talk.I can't stop laughing....
I had a great Labour Day weekend at the cottage and I had forgotten all about Ronny. So now that I'm back home I listened to his sermon. I noticed he took a dig at this website(or what I perceived as a dig at don't drink the flavourade). "we arent going to store up weapons or drink anything". Also, McCain is apparently not going to be inaugerated in January.
"Also, McCain is apparently not going to be inaugerated in January."Oh ho so now he's twisting his false prophecy to say he only meant one of the candidates won't be inaugurated? Don't tell me Weinland is jumping on the racist Bob Thiel bandwagon, proclaiming Obama the Beast Power......Probably figures it'll net him some LCG sheeple......Aarrggh.
Actually, I don't think he mentioned either candidate by name. And he hedged a little, saying that it's possible a president won't be inaugurated.
So in other words now he's backtracking on the "no president will be elected" false prophecy as well?Le sigh. Why am I not surprised?
ILFPRW needs to be careful with all his backpedaling. He just might lose his credibility! :)
"Also, McCain is apparently not going to be inaugerated in January."RW did not mention McCain.Sorry if I caused some confusion, I was inserting my own perception of how your election will turn out.I'm not prophesying that McCain will win! I just think he will win.But according to RW's last sermon, a president will not be inaugurated.
"But according to RW's last sermon, a president will not be inaugurated."That's still different from what he said in "Three More Weeks", which was that a president will not be elected. Then again, Rotten Ronnie is getting known for his backpedaling, so I'm not surprised at all.
Pssst -- Canadians marked Labour Day on September 1 as well. With a U.

"By the fall of 2008, the United States will have collapsed as a world power, or it will have begun its collapse and no longer exist as an independent nation within six months after that time."
