Sheriff Ron Coming Next Month

False Prophet Ronald Weinland was in Springfield Massachusetts yesterday. His elders Mitch Williams and John Giannotta were on hand to deliver the prayers. His elder J Noble Snowdeal didn't make it this time as his wife Vicki is battling cancer. Hopefully she will recover from that and then recover from following Ron.

It's interesting that Snowdeal was promoted to elder, given his recent involvement in worldly politics as an elector for Ralph Nader. Nader???!!! I guess Joseph never got the message that God is a Republican, but even so Godly people don't vote.

Weinland took note of the story that's circulated the pro- and anti-CoG blogosphere about WCG's name change to GCI. He was approving of the change and thought getting God out of their name was long overdue. Of course during Armstrong's reign it was not the same unitarian God that Weinland worships anyway. Seems that Satan can broadcast into people's minds and cause them to commit the unpardonable sin. Time to break out the tin-foil hats.

I was surprised to hear about the second passover, observed 30 days after the regular passover. This is a second chance for those who missed the regular passover. I asked if this was a new doctrine and was told that WCG observed it but didn't make a big thing about it. Possibly mentioned in a brief statement when I was required to attend, but I was zoned out exercising my defense mechanisms in ignoring all the other nonsense.

Ron didn't pound on the 4th thunder this week. I was surprised that he didn't take the swine flu outbreak as a chance to pound on the 5th thunder.

He's invented a new word: "remaint" as in "food and remaint". This came while he was reading from Deuteronomy 10:18 which reads: "He doth execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment." A little dyslexia with the vowels there, Ron.

Because of their need to vacate the hall for another group, his time was limited. He ended the sermon a few minutes early so that he could make an announcement. It seems that someone is committing adultery, and Ron knows who it is. If it doesn't end in a month, Sheriff Ron will show up and disfellowship the offenders, who as a result will not survive the Great Tribulation.

I would tell them not to worry. After all, it's over 4 months now since Ron cursed me to die quickly from the inside, and obviously that didn't happen.

That was a big surprise about the second passover. I've never heard of a second passover. Must have something to do with getting more tithes. He sure is demonstrating his announcement of Dec 14 that there are going to be some surprises.

It's amazing that he thinks it is no big deal to change the nature of God. This isn't just a false teaching, it is blasphemy. When you sideline Jesus like Ron does, it only demonstrates his ego is completely unchecked. If Jesus wasn't God before his birth, then we have no savior.

Hello Mike,

Yes, observing Passover a month late is biblical. In Numbers 9:9-12, it explains it.

In the '80s, you had to have a very good reason, and special dispensation fron Headquarters, to attend the "makeup" Passover. Of course, you were looked down upon, if you had to.

rj,

According to Numbers 9:9-12 if anyone has handled a corpse or is away on a journey, they can celebrate the passover on the 14th day of the second month. How does this line up with telling a group of people they can celebrate it 30 days after the regular one; does he assume they understand the stipulations?

It seems inconsistent to be so domatic about some things the Bible says, and not make a big deal about others.

Just for reference, far be it for me to preach, from Numbers 9:

9 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

10 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If any man of you or of your posterity shall be unclean by reason of a dead body, or be in a journey afar off, yet he shall keep the passover unto the LORD.

11 The fourteenth day of the second month at even they shall keep it, and eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.

12 They shall leave none of it unto the morning, nor break any bone of it: according to all the ordinances of the passover they shall keep it.

13 But the man that is clean, and is not in a journey, and forbeareth to keep the passover, even the same soul shall be cut off from among his people: because he brought not the offering of the LORD in his appointed season, that man shall bear his sin.

I would assume if you already observed the passover in the first month, you shouldn't observe it again in the second month. Rather only observe it in the second month because you couldn't in the first month because of an emergency, like a death in the family.

Quote from your article Mike;

"It seems that someone is committing adultery, and Ron knows who it is. If it doesn't end in a month, Sheriff Ron will show up and disfellowship the offenders, who as a result will not survive the Great Tribulation"

What most followers don't realise is that it literally makes NO difference whether they follow him or not as they will still all likely die, as he told me himself directly, face to face...though he plays word games with his people to mess with their minds and hence why most of them think (even if they say im wrong) they will be safer following Ron....some will say i am wrong about them thinking they will be safe from following him...but i also "know" for a fact from previous fellowship with members some time ago that even though some deny it...their actions prove incredibly contrary aswell as their psychological profiles too.

There is NO guarantee of this protection through this imaginary tribulation.

I ask ALL followers of Ron to ASK HIM about this and see if he tells you the truth....or better yet, see if he "chuckles" as he tells you most will die as he did with me. What kind of freak chuckles about people dying "horribly"?

SH996 - Doesn't the Bible state that Christ's second coming will "be like a thief in the night?"

How can having the exact date given to us be like " a thief in the night"?

By simply knowing the date Ron has set eliminates the possibility of it being true.

If it IS true and I do not believe it, even then when it happens I would be like "well, he said so and I didn't believe him but I guess it is true" NOT "I don't beleive it - I never saw it coming".

So this is VERY interesting about "God's Prophet" Ronald Weinland: He has no qualms about handing out death curses, but he can't be bothered to heal one of God's children who was "wise enough" to follow Ron?

Sounds pretty suspect, don't you think?
Actually, it sounds pretty convenient for a wolf in sheep's clothing.
This is just one more proof that he is NO prophet of God's.

...furthermore, if a date is given then it would seem to disparage the whole point of not knowing when the Lord will come but always be ready and always be righteous. If one knows the exact date one can go through the extra effort of "acting" ready and righteous for a time and crossing the finish line... and all the time being false, a wolf mind you in sheeps clothing. But if you don't know the time, the date and it will take place sometime between this very minute and a infinate amount of time then one must choose, secretly, to either walk the straight and narrow or walk thier own path with no promise of an end or even a final stretch as it where...

Well it's been 4 months since the Great Tribulation began and is suppose to be the most terrible time for those who live on the earth. What's Ronnie's excuse for a terribly quiet tribulation? This year will pass, 2010 will arrive, Passover will come once again and Ron will give thanks that his followers are reason for why the Great Tribulation has been so quiet for such a long time. Finally, 2011 will arrive followed by 2012 and Pentecost will be upon Ron and his followers, and he will have to travel all the way to Jerusalem for the return of Christ, but will praise God for such a silent Tribulation for 3 and one-half years. Oh, there's some irony - a silent tribulation and his newly ordained silent witness/profitees.

I've been following this blog for a couple of months now. Kudos Mike, you're doing a great job.

"Trust those who seek the truth, doubt those who find it." - Andre' Gide. I think this is good advice to anyone who is looking for spirituality, a deity, or truth.

As to Ronnie, it is obvious that pointing out his vast number of failed prophecies cannot dissuade the true believers(tm) from believing him. However, what may be more eye opening, is documenting how many of his prophecies actually came to pass. My guess is that the answer is none; or maybe a few that require an exercise in mental contortionism to view as "fulfilled".

Thanks again Mike, and keep it up. You have to be helping some of these followers.

Prophecies by Ron that have come to pass?

Well the "economic thunder" somewhat partially kinda came to pass and the economy dipped by a large margin... but as far as destoying America financially (causing the country to belly up and no longer be a self controled state) if was a bust.

With the new Swine Flue menace Rons "epedimic / pandemic" thunder has made a very small appearance, tiny in fact in comparison the number of people that must die to it to cause a world wide impact.

Beyond that.... uh.... well....

According to Weinland's book, the 4th thunder was to have been brought about by the first 3 thunders. In reality it was brought about by greedy criminals.

Epidemics is the 3rd phase of the 5th thunder, after the deaths of specific ministers (none of whom have died) and the unusually high death rate of notable people.
