Look's Like Ron's Going to Continue the Charade

May 8, 2008 Laura and I are going to resume making Sabbath visits for as long as we are able to do so. Before the Passover season, it was not yet clear whether we would be able to continue this program, but now it is evident we will have some more time to make such visits. [Amazingly some people are still following wRONg despite the complete failures of his prophecies to this point (besides that mocking thing).] Generally we are not going to make such plans very far in advance for the U.S., and from time to time we may have to make last minute changes. Over the coming months, planning visits to specific areas will become more difficult as destructive events strike in different locations. As we look to God to lead us in our planning, we are going to continue sending elders to locations where growing numbers of people are seeking baptism and fellowship with God’s Church. [So the false profit's Google Adwords campaign is still hooking a few suckers who may have 401(k) plans to plunder. Do the growing number of people being sucked into his fantasy exceed those who are coming to their senses and leaving? What is his turnover rate?] We are going to focus on serving those whom God is calling as long as we are able to accomplish such work. [If they're still paying tithes, he's going to cultivate them so they continue to produce.] and as we move forward through the Four Trumpets that will sound first, we will have to be very flexible in how this is accomplished. [He's continuing to move the emphasis to the Fifth Trumpet.]

As God reveals the work His two witnesses are to accomplish, we will keep you posted in as timely fashion as we are able. [After he reads today's headlines, he'll put something up on his blog if he can figure out how that darn Internet thingy works. Every 3 weeks or so that is, which is enough to fulfill the scripture that both witnesses prophesy daily] God has not yet revealed all that we are to accomplish or the areas in which such things will be done. [Gotta give him a chance. After all, ya can't read tomorrow's paper until tomorrow, right?] That will be a progressive revelation to His two end-time witness, whose job formally begins on April 17th.

Interesting that his post was dated May 8 even though it was still the 7th throughout the US when I saw it.

So, surprise -- he's not ready to repent, and truly wear the sackcloth of humility. How long will it be before wRONg relents and admits he's a false prophet? How long before he let's his people go?

Probably in October of 2011 he'll still be grasping at straws. Christ's return will have been spiritual. And well before that we'll have spiritual "nukular" explosions in US cities.

Ron Weinland, It's Time

Ron, in your sermon Saturday you said "But, I have been able to learn by going back and reading some things in the book. Because, when God inspires things, when God gives things, we can learn from that and there are some things that I've written that I candidly haven't fully understood."

So, Ron, learn some more by going back to your book "2008 GFW" and turning to page 108 where you wrote "How much more specific can one be to show that he is either of God, and indeed His prophet, or someone who has clearly stepped over the line to be dealt with by God in a speedy manner. Time will tell! And, you don’t have long to wait!"

And Ron, what was this test that you defined? Turn back to the bottom of page 107 and read "The most notable deaths early on, which are yet to come to pass, will be the two remaining television presenters in the Living Church of God. The sound of this thunder will be intensified by the early deaths of the leaders of the Philadelphia Church of God, the Restored Church of God and the Church of the Great God." Ron, you know who these specific individuals are even if some of your flock recruited via the Internet from the younger set without a Church of God background do not.

Ron, have all of these individuals died? In fact have any of them? No, Rod Meredith, Gerald Flurry, David Pack, and John Ritenbaugh are all still alive. Ron don't tell us that these specific individuals are "gonna die in the Great Tribulation". Ron, you specifically called for their deaths in the first phase of the fifth thunder, that is they were to occur well before the seventh seal allegedly opened on March 18. These are not part of the rank and file ministers you prophesied to die in the great tribulation. Ron, don't attempt to spiritualise their deaths either -- the deaths of ministers you mentioned during and following the Ratzmann shooting were physical deaths.

Ron, you have by your own standard set in your own writing defined yourself as a false prophet. And you compound this when on March 29th you draw a line in the sand and say "If by Pentecost it is not powerfully and abundantly clear that there has been a great deal of destruction that will clearly encompass a third of all plant life in the US and at least the clear results of this mingled with blood the death of very much animal life and the beginning of large numbers of human life then I will stop preaching" and then a few short weeks later say "And, I made some comments about Pentecost. But I sadly understand now even moreso, that there is going to be things that the world isn't going to know or understand or acknowledge. That's not going to slow me down one iota." Never mind that you followed up your declaration of March 29 with "Just so all the critics and everyone out there will understand. I am true to my word in these things. OK?" Ron, you are not true to your word.

Ron, by your own words you mock yourself. Ron, your critics are not twisting your words as you tried to convince your followers with your "exposed" comment. You provide enough twisted words that you do the job for your critics.

Ron, it's time. It's time to truly don the sackcloth of humility and acknowledge the facts which are there for those who have eyes to see, that you are a false prophet, by your own definition.

Ron, it's time to shut down the Google Adwords campaign. The key words that you've chosen such as "Nostradamus" are not designed to witness to the world but rather to attract those inclined to buy into your delusions. Ron, Google yourself and see if there really is a growing recognition that you are the end time witness. Look at the first few pages of search results and see if there are any giving you the recognition you crave.

Ron, it's time to start the process of refunding money that you promised in your sermon. It's time to start that even if no one asks you. You said "So if you didn't believe that you'd have any mortgage payments after April the 17th, or you didn't have to pay off your credit card, then you made a mistake! You know. You can't blame me!" Yes, your flock did make a mistake. But they can also blame you because you led them to make that mistake. Ron, it's time to do what you can to minimize the damage for which you bear a significant degree of responsibility.

Ron, it's time to publicly acknowledge your mistake, ask for forgiveness, and then stop preaching. I by that I mean a permanent end, not a resumption after some short period of repentance. The rest of the time you draw breath is not long enough to repent for what you've done. If the only job you're qualified for is a greeter at Walmart, then that's what you should do -- show some true humility.

Ron, it's time. No, Ron, it's well past that time.

Audra, Give Back the Money

But if you're Audra's father, it's time to read this.

Audra, your father described in his sermon today how some people have given tremendous amounts of money, $10,000, $100,000, and more. Did these people have this much money as spare change? Hardly. Probably these "offerings" came from loans, perhaps a mortgage refinancing a home that people never expected to repay.

Or these offerings may have come from people who cashed out their retirement savings because they were misled by your father into believing that they won't need it. People who are going to experience a true Great Tribulation when the IRS comes after them for the remaining taxes on money pulled from 401(k) plans. Not only will these people suffer from reduced circumstances in their old age, they're going to suffer now because the amount withheld from the withdrawal for taxes will only cover a portion of the amount due. Those who make withdrawals last year are about to suffer, and those who did it this year will face the problem next year.

Audra, don't delay the refunds on those who've done this recently. If a 401(k) withdrawal was done recently there may yet be time for these people to put that money into a rollover IRA and defer the tax bill. Make sure they know to check into it or ask a qualified tax adviser. But if it's too late for that at least they'll have the money to pay their taxes.

Audra, cancel the Google Adwords program so that no more money goes to Google making it unavailable for refunds. What does the key word "2012" have to do with the Bible? How about "Nostradamus"? And where in the Bible does the word "rapture" appear? But I have to admit that "Bible code" does have something to do with the Bible, obviously, but what does it have to do with the end time?

Audra, break the pitcher and do the right thing. Will you be able to live with yourself after your involvement in this when it's all over? We can't choose our parents, but we can choose what to do with our lives. Whether your father's a con man or truly deluded, you don't need to be a part of it. People have been damaged, do what you can to minimize it.

Audra, give back the money.

False Prophet Ron Weinland on the Mike McConnell Show

Weinland Watch has a complete transcript and links to audio of Ron Weinland on Cincinnati radio station WLW's Mike McConnell show.

As I expected I heard the normal grasping at straws -- the Reno earthquakes, the tornadoes. I'm surprised he didn't work in the shark attacks too. Mike didn't really ask any tough questions, but it really isn't his job to expose false prophets. Rather, it's his job to entertain his audience and and the end of the interview Ron agreed to return for another interview in July to provide yet more entertainment for demons and others.

At one point they discussed the second trumpet and how it was going to destroy a few cities, but not the entire nation.
RW:" No, by the second trumpet time we only have the first major strikes–what I mean–and I even mentioned there–it appears to be as though it’s going to be something nukular(sic). Uh if if that happens in some of the major cities, obviously, our our whole lifestyle in the United States changes. If it happens in New York, and Chicago, Washington, DC -- things are gonna change major for us here in the United States. But the United States continues on for several months. This doesn’t destroy us. Things continue on–look what happened with Katrina. Did that hurt the rest of the United States? NOOO."

And a bit later on: "We are coming to a point where by the time you get to the fifth trumpet we are going to be destroyed, in essence. We’re not going to have a whole lot left."

I see this as a continuation of a theme he started with last Saturday as I mentioned in a previous post. He's trying to move the goal post all the way to the fifth trumpet, and even introducing the possibility that the second trumpet won't be "nukular" war. What about the third and fourth trumpets? Ronnie boy, if you use up all off the trumpets you won't have any left. That is unless you want to introduce some new ones. How many trumpets will we end up with? How about 111? That's a godly number.

Silent Witness Search Results

I thought it interesting to see the results of a Google search on the Silent Witness Laura Weinland (who by the way happens to be the wife of the Spokesman Witness Ronald Weinland). Search results on "Laura Weinland" were:
#1: genealogy.com, which has a Google Page Rank of 5
#2: WeinlandWatch which has been at this game long enough to have a Google Page Rank of 3
#3: Yours Truly "Don't Drink the Flavor Aid" which just this week made it out of the Google sandbox and into the index, and doesn't have a page rank yet.

Where does Laura's mention on Ronnie's own site show up in the search results? Answer: #7. It's truly amazing to understand how insignificant of an actor she is in this little drama, when a search for her turns up mentions on 3 different websites critical of Wacky Weinland before it returns a hit on his own site. My read of Revelation chapter 11 does not indicate that one of the Two Witnesses is more important than the other.

Rumor has it that False Prophet Ron is going to make a repeat appearance on Cincinnati radio station WLW's Mike McConnell show Friday morning (9 AM - Noon EST). I wonder if she'll get any exposure there, or even a mention.

I expect McConnell will ask him about the lack of significant events, and that we'll hear more of "45 to 90 days" (but now 76 days or less) and "God progressively reveals". I doubt we'll hear him doing "his job" and revealing any new prophesies, nor do I think he'll come up with a new curse for his mockers on McConnell's program. I wonder if he'll give McConnell any leeway if he says anything slightly mocking.
