Four and Counting, Ten and Counting

During his short sermon last Saturday, False Prophet Ronald Weinland did a drive-by through the Seven Thunders. Speaking about the Fifth Thunder, he said:
“I’ll just say what’s happened here has been minimal. Even these in part have happened in an orderly fashion. One, two, three, four, five, six, and seven. Where are we right now? Four. But all of them have had some thunderings. And the only ones that can hear any of that – it’s us, God’s people."

I'm mystified as to how the fifth thunder has sounded since he published his book two years ago. None of the five "notable ministers" have died. "People" magazine is not commenting on the unusually large number of notables who are dying. There's not a disease pandemic.

His book certainly didn't say that the only four of the Thunders would sound before the Great Tribulation. On page 96 of his book he wrote:
All Seven Thunders will increase in power and recognition over the next two years (from the date of the first printing of this book) and on into the final three and one-half years of great tribulation.
And on page 111:
All Seven Thunders are given as God’s proof that I am His end-time prophet.
And on page 115
During the Sixth Seal, all Seven Thunders will be getting progressively louder.

A comment was left on a previous post pointing out something I had missed. On page 107:
To make it absolutely clear, my petition covers more in regard to the scattered ministers. The most notable among them will be those who die toward the beginning. However, every minister who was scattered, who fails to repent early on and return to God (with me, as God’s minister, teaching them) will die during the final three and one-half years of great tribulation.

Before the Great Tribulation rebegan on December 14, none of the "notable" ministers, the five he specifically mentioned, had died. But one of the other scattered ministers had already died. Raymond McNair died on October 11 at the age of 78. McNair was formerly an evangelist in Worldwide and when he died he was in charge of his own Armstrongite splinter, the Church of God 21st Century. So Weinland prophesied that McNair would die during the Great Tribulation, but he died before it began.

A minor point among all of Weinland's other failures and contradictions. "2008 God's Final Witness" was supposedly inspired by God -- why didn't he inspire Larry to fix the language to read something along the lines of " ... will die before the end of the final three and one-half years of tribulation"? Is God the Author of Confusion?

And it's now ten days since False Witness Ronald Weinland placed his curse on me, that I would speedily die. I'm obviously still here. Ron, please clarify. When you say I'll die speedily, does that mean that I'll die soon? Or does it mean that when I die (whenever that is), that it will be a quick death. If it's soon, please be more specific. And if you mean a quick death, then thank you. When it comes my time, I don't want to suffer long.

Weinland Changes an Iota

False Prophet Ronald Weinland lamely responded to my post of last Sunday in his sermon today. He started by reading the following paragraph from the last page in his book "2008 God's Final Witness":
When this book is published at the end of summer of 2006, (with distribution in full swing in the fall), there will be a maximum time of two years remaining before the world will be plunged into the worst time of all human history.

Weinland admitted that the book was late -- it wasn't actually published until December of 2006 and at that time as a PDF for download on his the-end.com website. The book failed prophetically before the printing press even rolled. Then the Insane Liar said that we have already been plunged into the worse time of all human history because our economic situation will be the worse. Ron has twisted the meaning of the word "plunged". A synonym for "plunged" is "immersed", and the economic situation in which we are immersed is not worse than the Great Depression, even 3 months later than the prophetic deadline. And the Great Depression, bad as it was, was not as bad for the world as was World War II. Whether or not the situation worsens, and it might do do, the prophecy failed because we are not and in September were not plunged into the worse time of human history -- the most that could be said is that we've dipped our toe.

He continued to the next paragraph from his divinely inspired book:
By the fall of 2008, the United States will have collapsed as a world power, or it will have begun its collapse and no longer exist as an independent nation within six months after that time.

Ron said the US has begun its collapse, economically. He mentioned the Eight-Month difference between his two timelines, and continued to blather about the economy for several minutes. He said he didn't know if that time would hold, or if there would be a delay of Eight Months due to the change of timelines, and said it was written based on his assumption that Jesus would return on Trumpets. Continuing on in the book:

There is a marginal, six-month window of time that God has not yet revealed concerning this specific moment of time.

Then Weinland claimed that he's said many times there could be a six to nine-month period (Wow!!!). Must have been some time back when he said this many times, because what I recall him saying recently is that it could be up to a year before the second trumpet blows. And no telling how long it takes for the third through fifth trumpet to finish us off as an independent nation.

Finally from the book: This will be revealed some time soon after the distribution of this book begins.

Ronald stated that two years can be regarded as "soon" given 6000 years of human history. OK, I see now. If I live to be 110 and then my heart gives out, that can be regarded as dying speedily from the inside as a result of your Witness curse against me. Gotcha, Ron.

Oh, but wait. Ron is still not revealing anything. Reading from a prepared statement, he said that the 8-month timeline difference changed everything. Ron did make the following statement with which I fully agree: "I don't know." That's true, Ron doesn't know. But send him all your money anyway.

In his sermon of June 28th with two names: "50th Truth"/"Trumpets 2008", the False Prophet stated (starting at 4 minutes into the file currently archived on the COG-PKG website):
"It's important to understand, that everything that I've written in the two books will come to pass. All the prophecies are true and will come to pass exactly as they are written. ...... So all that God has revealed in these matters concerning the end time is true and hasn't changed one iota, as far as what is true concerning the prophecies." When he changed to the new timeline, he said that the book is 100% true but he assumed the wrong date. Now that the new timeline is in jeopardy, he's starting to change the book saying he assumed the wrong date.

In any case, "speedily" is longer than 7 days because that's how long it's been since the Insane Witness issued his death curse.

Please Read "2008 God's Final Witness"

No, I haven't started drinking the Weinland Flavor Aid. This recommendation is for any of Ronnie's followers. When he stands up and delivers a sermon, see if what he says is in agreement with what is said in his book, which he claims is divinely inspired and is still correct even though he was presumptuous in setting up his first timeline and has since moved to timeline #2. Read Ron's book "2008 God's Final Witness" and see if it agrees with what he's currently saying.

And when he says that I've said something, read what I actually said. In last Saturday's sermon he said: "Some have read through some of the things in the book and have asked questions about 'Well, before the Seventh Seal was opened up and before the first trumpet all these thunders were supposed to have been accomplished.' No!!! That was never stated in those terms. It was a matter, even in the book, that it's a matter that those thunders are going to continue on." (Sermon file of Dec 20, at about 46 minutes.)

I'm going to assume that "Some" is yours truly because he used the term "Some" when he acknowledged on June 28 that I had figured out and published his second timeline and 50th "truth" a week before he announced it to his church. "Some" has written a series of posts on this blog about ReFail Ron's silent thunders. But "Some" didn't say that the thunders were supposed to be finished when the Seventh Seal was opened. I read what he said on page 96: "All Seven Thunders will increase in power and recognition over the next two years (from the date of the first printing of this book) and on into the final three and one-half years of great tribulation."

My criticism has been that the thunders have not been increasing in magnitude since he published his book. For example I showed that the economic impact of weather disasters has actually diminished since Weinland wrote the book. And one of the thunders hasn't sounded at all.

The first phase of the Fifth Thunder hasn't sounded at all. "Some"'s interpretation of Weinland's prophecy regarding the deaths of CoG ministry was that all five of the specific ministers he mentioned would be dead before the Seventh Seal opened and that the rest of the rank-and-file CoG ministry would die during the Great Tribulation. There's no point in quibbling about whether it meant that all five would die before the Seventh Seal or just part of the five specifically named ministers. Since not a single one of them has died, the the Fifth Thunder hasn't sounded at all, much much less sounding loudly when the Seventh Seal supposedly reopened on November 14.

When Ronnie stands up and blathers on during a sermon, check what he says against the book. If you have eyes to see, let them read. When he says that it could be up to a year before the Second Trumpet sounds, and he also says that it's the Second, Third, and Fourth Trumpets which bring the US down and that we're taken over during the Fifth Trumpet, how does that jive with his statement on the very last page of his divinely inspired book that the US will not be an independent nation within six months after the fall of 2008? (Listen to last Saturday's sermon at about 51 minutes and also 1 hour and 2 minutes. Also listen to the Nov. 1 sermon at 1 hour and 23 minutes. NOTE: these times are for the file versions which include the announcements -- if your file does not include announcements the file location may be earlier.) It's clear to me that the first five trumpets have to sound before next June 21 if "2008 God's Final Witness" is divinely inspired.

Ron, before you come up with your usual lame explanation for your contradictions that your followers will swallow whole, please answer this: Is "dying speedily" faster or slower than "dying early on" or "not long". I'm referring to the section in your book on pages 107-108:
"The most notable deaths early on, which are yet to come to pass, will be the two remaining television presenters in the Living Church of God. The sound of this thunder will be intensified by the early deaths of the leaders of the Philadelphia Church of God, the Restored Church of God and the Church of the Great God."
followed on page 108 by"
"How much more specific can one be to show that he is either of God, and indeed His prophet, or someone who has clearly stepped over the line to be dealt with by God in a speedy manner. Time will tell! And, you don’t have long to wait!"

The reason I ask is that if "speedily" is slower than "early on", I've got at least two years to live. You published your book two years ago, in December of 2006, and not one of these ministers have died. How much longer is "early on"?

I guess since it's been more than 100 hours since you issued your death curse against me, we'll not express "speedily" in seconds, minutes, or hours so it's expressed in units of at least days. So again Ron, is my "speedy death" going to be sooner or later than an "early death"?

The More Mockers, The Merrier

We have a new blog about Weinland joining in the mock fest. "Dill Weed" has started a blog which he calls "The Prophet Who Failed". That must be to distinguish Weinland from all the prophets who passed, and here's a complete list of them:

Take a look at Dill Weed's blog. He has a photo of Ron in his younger days before he lost his hair and needed to resort to wearing a cap. He's demonstrating his fire-breathing abilities using the same orifice from which he issues his End-Time Witness prophecies and curses.

It's been about 55 hours since Rotten Ronnie pronounced his death curse on me (for the second time, the first was on April 19), that I'm to die speedily from the inside. I'm still alive and mocking, so it looks like "speedily" is not expressed in seconds or minutes.

Happy Winter Solstice to the Rest of You, My Days are Numbered

The Winter Solstice coincides with the publishing of this post. The Winter Solstice ends the fall season and starts the winter season.

The Winter Solstice has significance within Armstrongism with Christmas associated with Sun worship. Seems that Sun worshippers regard the 25th of December as the rebirth of the Sun in the Northern Hemisphere as the Sun has clearly reversed its descent to the Southern horizon with the passing of the Winter Solstice.

This moment also has a point of prophetic significance for False Prophet Ronald Weinland. On the very last page of "2008 God's Final Witness", we find this little gem:
"By the fall of 2008, the United States will have collapsed as a world power,"

With the Winter Solstice and the publishing of this post, the fall of 2008 is over and yet the United States is still a world power. But a Weinland apologist would be quick to point out that the quote ends with a comma, not a period. Let's see what the remainder of the sentence says:
"or it will have begun its collapse and no longer exist as an independent nation within six months after that time."

So here we have a specific Weinland prophecy: By 7:04 AM EST on June 21, 2009, the United States will no longer exist as an independent nation. In yesterday's sermon he said that it will be the second, third, and fourth trumpets that finally bring down this nation and an unnamed European nation takes us over after the fifth trumpet sounds.

Do I think that Weinland's followers will abandon him in droves when President Obama is still in office as the chief executive of an independent United States on June 21? I rather doubt it. After all, they've ignored the inarguable abject failure of the Fifth Thunder with every one of the specific ministers still alive who were predicted to soon die by Weinland back in 2006 and in any case before the Opening of the Seventh Seal. Weinland's followers only have ears to hear the latest babble from the Insane Liar's mouth. If anyone bothers to ask, he will simply say that it's "spiritual". After all, he's already said that the Second Trumpet may not happen for a year and things won't get really, really bad until the Fifth Trumpet. And he's said that his prophecy of "will be no new President inaugurated in January of 2009" is not a prophecy. Despite the failed prophecies, the contradictions, and the timeline change they're still with him handing over their life savings to finance his prophetic fantasies.

The Spokesman Witness repeated his curse of April 19 against his mockers. However the curse is modified -- it will not be a slow death. Seems I will be dying from the inside speedily. And its to be really, really for sure this time since he for sure has his Witness Powers now.

Weinland spent the last part of the sermon reading from pages 88 and 89 of "2008 God's Final Witness", giving special emphasis to what it means to hurt the two witnesses. Seems that includes a simple insult, as in hurting them socially. Whatever is done to "hurt" the Two Witlesses will boomerang on the offender. I guess that means that the IRS Special Agent investigating ReFail Ron will soon be the target of an IRS criminal investigation.

Speaking of death, his elder Jack Wood in Australia died recently. Unlike others in COG-PKG who have died recently, he had a funeral.

One question, Ron: If the US is to be brought down by the Second, Third, and Fourth Trumpets followed by the loss of its independence when taken over by a European nation after the Fifth Trumpet, how is that going to happen by next June 21 if the Second Trumpet doesn't blow for a year which you say can happen? Please explain what the following sentence referring to the demise of the United States on the last page of your book means: "There is a marginal, six-month window of time that God has not yet revealed concerning this specific moment of time." Is your book an inspired revelation or not? Which is it: 6 months or a year? 'splain that, Ron. (The following Saturday, Ron did offer a lame explanation. From which I'd guess that 2008 GFW is not divinely inspired.)

Excuse me, but I have one more question: How much time do I have to get my affairs in order before I die speedily from the inside? Please be exact. How fast is "speedily"? Inquiring minds want to know.

Scripture Unexplained

Last Saturday from Jerusalem, False Prophet Ronald Weinland announced the addition to the FAQ section on the COG-PKG website. The page is titled "Scripture Explained" and is an index of Weinland's sermons which reference particular Bible verses.

Here's part of the page:


Weinland covered Deuteronomy Chapter 18 up through verse 19 which says:

19 If anyone does not listen to my words that the prophet speaks in my name, I myself will call him to account.

Rather important words for a Prophet seeking more acolytes to hand him their life savings. Are there any more verses in Deuteronomy Chapter 18 past verse 19? Let's see. Oh, yes -- there are.

20 But a prophet who presumes to speak in my name anything I have not commanded him to say, or a prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, must be put to death."

21 You may say to yourselves, "How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the LORD ?" 22 If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the LORD does not take place or come true, that is a message the LORD has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him.

Explain these verses, Ron.

It Has ReBegun

The Great Tribulation re-began this morning at 9:36 AM Eastern Time. According to False Prophet Ronald Weinland, the 1260 day begins at sunset in Jerusalem, which was 4:36 PM Jerusalem time. The first time around, back in April, Spokesman Witness Ron and Silent Witness Laura went to Jerusalem along with the Harrells. This time around they re-went to Jerusalem but without the Harrells. There was no prior announcement of this trip, so the Israeli authorities are not on the lookout for these sufferers of Jerusalem Syndrome.

This sermon was a re-spin of the sermon he delivered on April 19 just after the first blowing of the First Trumpet. One difference was that Laura was in the hotel room with him. He says that he has grown and that he can now deliver sermons with only one other person in the room so that now Laura doesn't have to hide in the bathroom under a blanket. However the Silent Witness remained true to her moniker and we did not hear from her. But he has made another change to the government in his church. Laura has been ordained as a prophet and now ranks above all the evangelists, senior elders, and elders. So I guess they'll all be hearing from her. But she still ranks below Ron.

He spent some time blathering about great spiritual battles. Perhaps the IRS Criminal Investigation Division is homing in on him, and he is grooming Laura to keep things going while he's a guest at Club Fed.

In April Weinland stated that the pope was beginning to be influenced powerfully by Satan. He says that was true. So powerfully that we haven't seen any evidence of this influence.

Near the end of his sermon ReFail Ron seemed to reimpose his curse against his mockers. We've been dying from the inside out spiritually and now it will be physical. If you don't hear again from your blogger and from this other blogger then perhaps these might be the Two Witnesses.

As far as his other witness powers, he said that they would not be done unless for a great purpose and probably not until after the Fifth Trumpet. Using Witness powers to prove that Ron and Laura are the Two Witnesses so people will recognize it and repent is not a great enough purpose. So I guess we won't be seeing blood in Fountain Square for quite some time.

Redux Ron, Four More Days 'til the Restart of the Great Tribulation

Here we are nearly at the start of the second go-around for Spokesman-Witness-to-be and False Prophet Ronald Weinland and his trusty sidekick, wife, and Silent-Witness-to-be Laura Weinland. In only four days, on December 14, they again don the sackcloth of humility and resume their jobs as the Two Witnesses.

Let's review what happened the first time around on and around April 17th. There was a good deal of interest, as Gavin Rumney noted the record web traffic on his Ambassador Watch blog in his Wiener Effect post. For the occasion, Ron took Laura and the Harrells on a jaunt to Jerusalem. Ron posted his Passover sermon and his regular Saturday sermon from Jerusalem -- it wasn't clear why he took the other three people with him as they were not allowed to stay in the hotel room while he recorded his sermons. He made a special point to announce Laura as the Second Witness on his blog on the 17th of April, although it was very late on the 17th with that day remaining in only a few time zones before the technically challenged false prophet was able to accomplish it.

Other events at the time that Weinland made much of were the pope's visit to the US and a minor earthquake that happened in southern Illinois. Supposedly Satan was going to influence the pope powerfully beginning on that day, but the only unpopelike thing the pope did was to apologize for the sexual abuse perpetrated by his priests.

Leading up to April 17th Weinland appeared on British talk show host James Whale's program and prophesied nuclear detonations in US port cities within 45 to 90 days after April 17th. On March 29th he made his infamous "if by Pentecost" declaration which included prophecies for the destruction of plant and animal life by that time as the result of the First Trumpet. He also prophesied that no new President will take office on January 20th.

His only exercise of his Witness Powers was to declare a curse on his critics and mockers -- supposedly we're dying slowly from the inside out. I guess it's very very slow since I'm still alive and blogging. After April 17th he made no new prophecies. He only gave one interview after that, on May 2 on WLW's Mike McConnnell Show. (His appearance on Australian television recently was taped last winter. Well, actually summer down there.)

This time around the false prophet is taking a lower key approach. No trips have been indicated for December 14 so he'll probably be in Cincinnati. He's indicated in a recent sermon that it could be up to a year before the Great Tribulation is evident, and has backed off on his "no new President" prophecy saying that it wasn't a prophecy.

And we'll see if he reimposes the death curse on me.

One thing that is the same is his Internet advertising. According to Alexa, web traffic to the-end.com is nearly the same level as it was back in February. And the uninformed and doomers are still being sucked in by it. Hopefully the merry-go-'round will stop somehow before Weinland starts up his third timeline.

One More Week

False Prophet Ronald Weinland delivered his sermon yesterday in the Netherlands. His title for it was "A Transition Between Eras". Supposedly the Laodicean era ended on on November 14 when the Seventh Seal opened, for the second time. If this is a transition, it's a transition between timelines -- his second timeline is a transition from his 1st timeline to the 3rd timeline to be rolled out when the second one fails so miserably that even his deluded followers recognize it.

Weinland claims to be bringing back the funds he stashed in Switzerland. Here is his explanation as to the reason for doing this from yesterday's sermon:
"..some of our “fans” misconstrue, they twist, and read into some of the things that they think that they know that’s been posted on some of the web sites, but they don’t know what they think they do. …. Because of 9/11 and people who try to hide funds in Switzerland, it should be understandable why primarily our government, speaking of the US, might be concerned with such a thing (and that definitely did take place)…"

So now the story he's trying to sell to the membership is that his "government problems" are a simple misunderstanding by the Department of Homeland Security. While anti-terrorism efforts would be concerned with the movement of funds that support terrorism, the concern would be for funds moved to the US or funds moved overseas to train terrorists. They're not concerned about funds moved overseas possibly to evade taxes. It's not DHS that's interested, it's the Criminal Investigation Division of the IRS. The picture below is a copy of a summons the IRS issued in August for Weinland's financial records (including church records since after all COG-PKG is a tool of Weinland, with no oversight board that I've ever heard of):

A week from today on December 14 is when the First Trumpet blows according to Weinland. There has been some reader interest in this upcoming non-event, including an inquiry as to why there is not more discussion about this. The answer perhaps is fatigue. Back in April when the First Trumpet blew for the first time, there was quite a bit of blogging going on concerning Ron Weinland. Robert McNally had a long running series beginning in November of 2007 on his Ironwolf blog. Gavin Rumney noted the increased traffic to his Ambassador Watch blog in April. After Weinland's prophecies failed to materialize and Ronnie reneged on his "if by Pentecost" promise, most people recognized him as a false prophet as defined in Deut. 18:20-22.

Unfortunately, people are still being sucked into the trap of ReFail Ron's false prophecies, attracted by the Internet ad campaign he renewed in October. To make matters worse, according to Weinland he's using the repatriated funds to increase the budget for Internet advertising. I'm keeping the story alive for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear so as to understand what a Liar Ronald Weinland is and avoid the needless destruction to their personal relationships and finances that result from following this false prophet. Actually, the DHS should be interested in Weinland's transfer funds from Switzerland to the US, as it will be used to fund terrorism. What Weinland does to his followers is terrorism, not in the common definition, but in its terrifying results on those who seriously consider the message promoted by his Internet advertising.

Author of Confusion

Brethren, please turn in your Bible to 1 Corinthians 14:33, which says:
"For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints."

So we are to believe that God (Elohim) confused his prophet who in turn confused his followers to believe that the Great Tribulation began on April 17th and that Christ will return on the Feast of Trumpets of 2011, when he really is to return on Pentecost of 2012 with the Great Tribulation beginning on December 14?

And when God (Elohim) finally revealed to his prophet the "new truth" back in June, he was initially to withhold this new truth to his followers until Sept. 30 of this year, but after only a week was "mercifully allowed" to reveal it early?

Let's continue on to 1 Corinthians 14:40 which says: "Let all things be done decently and in order."

And let's also review Deuteronomy 18:21-22 which says: "21 You may say to yourselves, "How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the LORD ?" 22 If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the LORD does not take place or come true, that is a message the LORD has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him."

And as SirPaul has aptly summarized "Ronald Weinland pronounced some prophecies, they failed, by God's definition he is a false prophet. God does not allow "mistakes" in regards to accurate prophecy. Can you imagine a host of people standing before God? And God asking him why they didn't believe his "witness"? And them replying, well, according to your own word, he is a false prophet! And God saying "Oops!". Do you thing God works this way? No he does not."

So we have identified the Author of Confusion: False Prophet Ronald Weinland. The God described in the Bible would not create this mess. I hope this clears up the confusion.
