ReBirth of a ReNewed Era

The title to this post is a corrected version of the title False Prophet Ronald Weinland gave yesterday's sermon from the UK. He hammered on the economy, but gave no mention of the other thunders all of which are silent. About the only thing of note was his acknowledgment that he didn't come out well in the Australian interview, but without any acknowledgment that this represents one of the non-intensifying thunders, the Sixth Thunder. While Ron mentioned the camera angle shown to the right, it's his apocalyptic ideas that took a particular beating on the TV spot.

For a description of yesterday's sermon, I'm going to turn it over to a commenter, using a comment left on my last post.

And There Was Silence in Heaven For About Half an Hour…
while on earth Ron rambled on for about two hours.

Rambling Ron reiterated the “amazing” things that have been happening, most, if not all of these amazing things were unnoticed by Weinland believers because these things were not only invisible to them, but were also “incomprehensible”, as well. Fortunately, Ron is there to point out and explain these things (in a very general way) and then tell everyone just how amazing these things are (yawn). And he was able to do it all in slightly less than two hours. JWs put a time limits on talks so you knew how long you’d have to suffer with a boring or unprepared speaker. God only gave Ron the talk the day before he delivered it so….

What were some of these amazing things? Well, the Abomination that causes desolation that had been plaguing the COG since 1994 was finally, some 1814 years later, over. Phew! Also, greed and envy existing in people and society were ‘amazing and incomprehensible.’ There is the financial crisis, the trouble with the big three automakers, and pagan holidays celebrated by Christianity also. He did not mention anything about the inauguration, but mentioned nukes going off.

Observations: Ron speaks very generally. He uses generalities to create a sense of urgency and fear. He seems to speak as much to convince himself of what he believes as others. Is it to much to expect a prophet to speak with clarity and specificity that speaks for itself?

Ron says we are in the ½ hour of Silence in Heaven. So, we’re back where we started in April. O.K., let’s see what happens. I’m still not sending any tithes in, but I’ll be an interested observer for a while.

How will the wheels come off?

It should be interesting to hear his future talks as nothing continues to happen. When Ron explains why his ‘prophecies’ haven’t happened he is explaining as much to himself as he is to others. I don’t doubt Ron believes what he says.

In having to reconcile the conflict betweeen reality and what he believes, I believe he will ultimately realize he is not a prophet much less one of The Two Witnesses of Revelation.

Dill Weed

Somehow "Dill Weed" has managed to post comments on "Citizen X's" blog without yet being banned. While he is an end-time buff of some sort, at least he recognizes Weinland as a false prophet. Or seems to -- there's bit of ambiguity lurking there. To Dill Weed and others who may be on the fence regarding Weinland, let me mention Deuteronomy 18:20-22 as well summarized by SirPaulMuaddib on the AboveTopSecret Forum:
"Ronald Weinland pronounced some prophecies, they failed, by God's definition he is a false prophet. God does not allow "mistakes" in regards to accurate prophecy. Can you imagine a host of people standing before God? And God asking him why they didn't believe his "witness"? And them replying, well, according to your own word, he is a false prophet! And God saying "Oops!". Do you thing God works this way? No he does not."

ReFail Ron's Sixth Thunder Still Silent

False Prophet Ronald Weinland might as well be Rodney Dangerfield, who didn't get any respect either. The Australian ABC has made available online a transcript of their Compass program episode featuring Weinland. As I expected, Refail Ron didn't come out so well. Keep in mind that this interview was recorded back in January, and it still holds true into Weinland's second timeline.

One of my favorite quotes in the program is from psychologist Susan Tanner:
"Apocalyptic thinking can be very useful to people who need to feel a sense of control, and that they therefore feel calm because they know what’s going to happen. Living with uncertainty, living with a question mark is the hardest thing to do for all human beings. We like to know what’s going to happen."

In response to the question of the dangers of apocalyptic thinking here's a quote which I hope is wrong in Weinland's case:
"There are massive risks when someone has extreme delusional thinking. There are risks to the individual. And there are obviously dangers to other people and that can be hundreds or thousands of other people, when someone is totally controlled by their delusional thinking. And you know we have lots of examples of that in our history. " So far I haven't seen any hints that Weinland would pull a Jim Jones and I hope that doesn't change. Even so, his followers are being damaged both in their wallets and their psyches.

Basically the Compass program used Weinland as a backdrop to a general discussion on apocalyptic thinking. While not all details are correct (they kept referring to the False Prophet as a Pentecostal), the main thrust of the piece was on target. This interview with the False Prophet was definitely no fulfillment of the Weinland's Sixth Thunder. "The Sixth Thunder is the growing revelation of God’s end-time witnesses. That revelation is that I am the spokesman of God’s two end-time prophets—the spokesman of His two end-time witnesses." ("2008 God's Final Witness", page 109)

It's Deja Vu All Over Again -- Three More Weeks

False Prophet Ronald Weinland was in Detroit for the sermon on Saturday. The title of his sermon was "Three More Weeks, Phase 2 (Deja Vu)" Seems that Weinland uses the term "phase" instead of "timeline" as "Three More Weeks" was the title of his March 29 sermon in the first timeline.

He claims that his church grew 300% in the last year, and will grow 3000% in the next. Yet more sheep to shear. He told them that they should hold cash as they might not be able to get their money out of the bank. Just hope they aren't burglarized.

Weinland emphasized that the First Trumpet might not be physical, and that he hopes it's quickly followed by the Second Trumpet. But he's already set them up to allow up to a year for the Second Trumpet to happen. More time to shear the sheep before they wake up.

The Insane Liar had an answer to the lack of shock and horror on November 14 when the Seventh Seal was ReOpened, per page 23 of his book: "I know the exact day the Sixth Seal was opened, and the world will be shocked and in horror on the day that the Seventh Seal is opened." Here is the explanation:"We had some in the church who read that literally, physically. It is not literal physically. It is prophetic. …. Just because something is stated in a specific way like this doesn’t mean it starts on that day. It is the result of what will take place throughout 3 and ½ years." How lame. If it doesn't happen as he prophesied he calls it "prophetic" and not literal.

How can we tell what in his book was "prophetic" and what is literal? Actually that's easy -- it's all "prophetic". Or "spiritual".

Although False Prophet Ronald Weinland's appearance on the Australian TV program "Compass" is not available elsewhere, there is a promotion video available online to those outside of Australia. Be patient through the brief advertisement and the two talking heads. There are a couple of clips of the False Prophet about 50 seconds into the piece.

My impression from the promo is that Ron will not come out well in the piece on "Compass".

Refail Ron, Weinland's Sixth Thunder

To any Australian readers: Please tune in to the Compass program Sunday at 2220 and leave your impressions of the program and its treatment of False Prophet Ronald Weinland in a comment on this blog. Also, please check out some of the other posts on the Don't Drink the Flavor Aid blog which has been tracking the end-time antics of Weinland since March.

On page 109 of "2008 God's Final Witness", False Prophet Ronald Weinland wrote:
"The Sixth Thunder is the growing revelation of God’s end-time witnesses. That revelation is that I am the spokesman of God’s two end-time prophets—the spokesman of His two end-time witnesses."

A simple Google search on "Ronald Weinland" strongly indicates that the opposite has occurred, with search results of many hits critical of Weinland and his prophetic claims. Even Citizen X of The Weinland Witness, the lone blogger defending the false prophet, has taken a wait-and-see attitude and has posted nothing since early October.

Weinland continued on his book:
"This thunder will grow louder as the events described in the previous thunders continue to unfold with ever increasing intensity, proving the validity of what has been written and that what I am saying is true. Radio and television interviews will become more the norm as curiosity, news, controversy, and fear increase in proportion to the growing intensity of these thunders."

Most of Weinland's radio interviews were arranged by publicists whom he had hired, and were not the result of curious interviewers seeking him out. Weinland has not had a radio interview since his interview with WLW's Mike McConnell on May 2 when he promised to stop preaching if we're still having a picnic on Labor Day. And in July Daniel Ott of The Edge denounced Weinland for failing to come on the program again to acknowledge the failures of his prophecies as he had promised during his interview in December. So much for radio interviews being the norm.

But wait -- Ron Weinland is going to be on ABC TV. But the "A" stands for "Australian", not "American". And the interview was not recorded recently, but rather back in January while on Weinland's first trip of the year down-under. If the thunders had been sounding, seems to me they'd have pulled the interview off the shelf and aired it long before now. And get a load of the promo:
"Are we facing the end of the world? American Pentecostal Pastor Ron Weinland believes he has been sent by God to announce the end of the world in 3 years time! In a provocative episode of Compass we meet this self-proclaimed prophet. He believes the end times are imminent, and he’s not alone. Climate change, acts of terrorism and natural disasters have fuelled the current epidemic of apocalyptic thinking. In this Compass program leading Australian commentators; sociologist Richard Eckersley, Biblical scholar Dr John Dickson, literary academic Greg Clarke and psychologist Susan Tanner, tackle the ultimate question."

Weinland was not too happy about being described as Pentecostal. And it reads like they have four people lined up to tear him apart. So much for television interviews being the norm.

Weinland's Sixth Thunder has ReFailed. In fact, it has failed more miserably than it failed the first time, for the first opening of the Seventh Seal on March 18. No surprise given what he wrote in his book about the Sixth Thunder "This thunder will grow louder as the events described in the previous thunders continue to unfold with ever increasing intensity, proving the validity of what has been written and that what I am saying is true." Only one of the previous thunders has sounded and a 20% accuracy rate is not going to convince rational people of his prophetic abilities. Unfortunately Weinland's followers have set aside rationality.

Those Who Do Not Remember The Past Are Condemned to Repeat It

The title to this post is also an epitaph to the 918 people who died as the results of the words of a charismatic leader 30 years ago today in Jonestown, Gayana. Nine members of Congressman Jim Ryan's investigating team and accompanying journalists were murdered on the instructions of Jim Jones, and also 909 committed suicide on his instructions, although it is debated that some of this number were also murdered. Whether suicide or murder, most of those who died in Jonestown were as the result of the ingestion of Grape Flavor Aid laced with cyanide. The title of this post was text on a billboard that presided over the gruesome scene of the dead bodies of Jones' followers.

Since Flavor Aid is similar to the more commonly known Kool Aid, the phrase "Don't Drink the Kool Aid" entered the American lexicon as a caution to avoid getting sucked into the mindset of some charismatic leader.

Since the inception of this blog in April, 2008, it has been devoted to debunking the False Prophet Ronald Weinland. While this false prophet has shown no signs of calling for the suicide of his followers, he has been destructive to them nevertheless. To the older people with assets needed for their golden age, he has induced them to give it up for the false promise of being part of the 144,0o0. And to the younger people with their lives ahead of them, he has induced them to give it up for the fear of the Great Tribulation followed by the false promise of the Millenium.

Meanwhile the Spokesman Witness and the Silent Witness soak up the tithes of the gullible with a nervous eye on the investigation of the Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigation Division. I can only hope the IRS CID will be soon successful in diverting the Insane Liar from negatively effecting the lives of yet more followers. In the interim, I can only hope that I can help divert potential victims such as this one.

Those older COG-PKG members who came through Herbert Armstrong's Worldwide Church of God have themselves to blame. They didn't learn from their history with False Prophet Herbert Armstrong and are repeating it with False Prophet Ronald Weinland.

Don't Drink the Flavor Aid!!!!

Weinland's Elders Enjoying the Good Life

Last March 29, False Prophet Ronald Weinland had a conference of all his elders in preparation for his first prophetic timeline. Since they're in the beginning stages of Weinland's second timeline, he called a second elders conference this past weekend. This weekend's elders conference was held at the Embassy Suites in Murfreesboro which is a new hotel in the Nashville area. Giving them a taste of of how Weinland lives in his home, the elders and wives enjoyed the meals, accommodations, and amenities paid for with the lay membership's first tithes and 75% of second tithes. Also, a new elder has joined the ranks, one Ken Zitt in the Cincy area.

In preparation for the millions expected to join the COG-PKG during the coming Great Tribulation, Weinland added another layer of church government. Senior elders are to report to Johnny Harrell, and the remaining US elders are to report to the senior elder over their area. Three were named senior elders: Jim Jamieson in the Northwest, Jimmy Carlisle in Texas, and Stephen Dalrymple over the remainder of the US.

Weinland continued with his "Total Resolve with Zeal" series. He delivered a heaping load of guilt on those who questioned him as God's prophet when the first timeline failed miserably. Seems there was a good deal of questioning and murmuring during the week between June 21 when he rescinded the first timeline and June 28 when he revealed the 50th "truth" and officially revealed the second timeline first revealed on this blog the week before. God showed much grace and mercy by not striking them dead for daring to speak out against "God's prophet". ReFail Ron accused them of being motivated by false pride for being embarrassed for having supported him and his false prophecies.

The Weinlands and the Harrells made a special trip last April for the start of his job as Spokeman Witness. There is no such trip mentioned for the ReStart on December 14. The only trips he has mentioned are Detroit next weekend, the UK on Nov. 29, and Belgium/Netherlands the following weekend on Dec. 6.

The closest the false prophet came to mentioning the 1290 day or ReOpening of the Seventh Seal the day prior was that it (Saturday) was the 1289 day. If there had been an event that put the world in shock and in horror the day before, he'd have been all over it. But since there wasn't, better to pretend it hadn't happened. Best not to wear out the "it's spiritual" explanation.

One can only hope that Weinland's remaining followers will soon find some salve for their eyes so that they can see that they're not following God -- they're following a false prophet who has exploited them. And it is exploitation, whether or not the false prophet believes the nonsense he's spewing.

Refail Ron, Weinland's ReFailed Reopening of the Seventh Seal

While November the 14th still has a little bit of time in the US, the 1290 day is essentially over throughout the inhabited world with sunset having occurred an hour ago in Hawaii. I just rechecked news websites, and found no stories that would put the few remaining islands between Hawaii and the International Dateline in shock and horror, much less the whole world.

False Prophet Ronald Weinland will probably explain it way the same way he did for the same lack of an an event on the first opening of the Seventh Seal on March 18. In his sermon of March 22, he asked mockingly "Did I say anything was going to happen on the 18th? It's a spiritual thing. I thought I made that abundantly clear."

Typical of the Insane Liar. If something that he prophesied didn't happen, it was spiritual. And if something bad happens that he didn't prophesy, it's a spiritual battle. It's all spiritual.

World Shocked and in Horror Today

The title of this post comes from a quote from False Prophet Ronald Weinland's book "2008 God's Final Witness". At the end of page 23, it reads: "I know the exact day the Sixth Seal was opened, and the world will be shocked and in horror on the day that the Seventh Seal is opened."

Today, November 14, is the 1290 day and the day that the Seventh Seal is opened. Excuse me, reopened because we're on Weinland's second timeline. The Seventh Seal was first opened on March 18.

I just took a look at the headlines. No big cataclysmic event yet that has the world shocked and in horror. Nothing on the order of 9/11. Nothing on the order of the tsunami of December, 2004.

Here in the US, it's still morning and there is yet time for something big to happen. But in New Zealand, it's already well past midnight and it the date is November 15. In Perth, Australia it's almost 11 PM and the day is almost over. Actually, the prophetic date is over since Weinland's religious days begin on sunset of the day before the civil day and end on sunset of the civil day. With the sun due to set in little more than an hour in Berlin, the prophetic date is also nearly over in Europe.

Refail Ron, Weinland's Fifth Thunder

Almost two years ago, Gavin Rumney put up the post "Ronnie Warns the World" on his Ambassador Watch blog. Gavin was rather critical of Weinland and his book "2008 God's Final Witness" which had recently been published.

Anthony "Tony" Wilson, who is one of the False Prophet's followers and also the webmaster for the HWA Compendium website which is devoted to the false prophet who was Weinland's mentor and idol, posted a comment in response. He made a number of interesting statements including the following: "If you want actual prophecies- read the book. He's stated very boldly specific individuals are going to die and in what order (Rod Meredith, Richard Ames, Gerald Flurry, Dave Pack, John Ritenbaugh). If that's not a specific prophecy, what is? And obviously there's not a whole lot of time to wait for that fulfillment."

This is consistent with page 107-108 of "2008 GFW", where the self-declared prophet of the god of Abraham wrote: "The most notable deaths early on, which are yet to come to pass, will be the two remaining television presenters in the Living Church of God. The sound of this thunder will be intensified by the early deaths of the leaders of the Philadelphia Church of God, the Restored Church of God and the Church of the Great God."

And just in case you weren't clear on this, he followed up with: "How much more specific can one be to show that he is either of God, and indeed His prophet, or someone who has clearly stepped over the line to be dealt with by God in a speedy manner. Time will tell! And, you don’t have long to wait!" (Ron, you should chew out Larry -- he didn't fix your missing question mark in the first sentence.)

So the deaths of the CoG leaders named by Tony Wilson were to have occurred soon after the publication of Weinland's book in late 2006 as proof that Weinland is a prophet. But here it is two years later and they're all still alive. None of them are dead. The closest we've had to a fulfillment of this prophecy is Meredith's recent stroke. But that's not dead. And with the imminent second opening of the Seventh Seal, we're a long way past "soon".

But this failure is only part of the failure. On page 101 of "2008 GFW" Weinland wrote:
"This Fifth Thunder is divided into three specific phases of death. (1) The first phase is death within the Church of God that was scattered. It will be specifically about a marked increase in the death of its leadership (the ministry)." The deaths of these specific individuals was to be followed by deaths of other ministers in Armstronite splinters. When taken to task when this prophecy failed at the original end of the Sixth Seal under Weinland's first timeline on March 18th, the Insane Liar responded in his sermon of March 29th with:
"critics look for physical events during these times ... the biggest one that people are looking for is the death of ministers. Sad. " He tried to shift the blame to critics, saying that we wanted the ministers to die. Not true at all -- his critics are not asking for these individuals to die. Ron is the one who wanted this, as stated on page 101 of his book: "This phase of the Fifth Thunder is one of my own choosing..." No, Ron. We didn't want it -- you did!! Very sad. And yes, since this prophecy, death, is of a physical event we are looking to see whether the event took place. And it clearly didn't happen.

In his March 29 sermon he continued on the topic of the deaths of competing CoGers: "It's is going to happen. It's going to take place. Especially those who have been full time. Not all elders, but all ministers. The reality is during three and one-half years they are all going to die." Ron, you can whitewash this over for your deluded followers with such a lame statement. But for those who can read and reason, you clearly stated that these specific deaths were to have occurred a long time ago. Since they didn't happen early in 2007, you've been proven a false prophet by this alone.

Apparently Tony has forgotten this, since his HWA Compendium website is still distributing Armstrong's nonsense on the Internet. And it's also linking to Insane Lying False Prophet Ronald Weinland's websites.

But there are two additional phase of the Fifth Thunder, from Weinland's book: "(2) The second phase will be a sudden escalation in the death of notable people in the world. (3) The third phase will be a sudden escalation of death in the world from plagues." While a few celebrities have died in the past few months, the number is not out of the ordinary. There are no headlines commenting on the unusual numbers of celebrity deaths. Nor are there headlines discussing pandemics.

In response to a statement Weinland made in a recent sermon, I've never stated that Weinland's thunders could only happen in the Sixth Seal and could not continue on into the Seventh. It would not be inconsistent for his prophesied thunders to sound in the Sixth Seal and continue on into the Seventh. But it is inconsistent with his prophecies for a thunder to not sound at all during the Sixth Seal, whether it ended on March 18th in accordance with Timeline #1 or whether it ends tomorrow in accordance with Timeline #2.

So we clearly have a failure of the Fifth Thunder, all three phases of the Fifth Thunder including the first one which was to define Weinland as a prophet. Actually a refailure since Ronnie extended the Sixth Seal when his first timeline failed miserably. Even if this all happens tomorrow in advance of the reopening of the Seventh Seal on Friday (Nov 14), it's still a failure since this thunder did not get progressively louder.

A bit of an aside. Word has reached DDTFA that a COG-PKG member died last month, a Walter Licklighter. Like several other COG-PKG members who died earlier, he requested no funeral. Sad.

Refail Ron, Weinland's Fourth Thunder

On page 98 of "2008 God's Final Witness", False Prophet Ronald Weinland wrote:
"The Fourth Thunder is global economic upheaval."

With the recent headlines even this critic will not argue with this thunder. Does that mean that I'm going to shut down this blog, repent of my errors, and start following Weinland? Hardly. Even if the Fifth, Sixth, and Seventh Thunders are true (which they aren't), the failed First, Second, and Third Thunders mean that Weinland's score is no better than 57% -- less than 60% and an "F". But that's only in the public education system. For a self-declared prophet of the god of Abraham the passing grade is no less than 100%. 100% is an "A", 99.99% is an "F".

Ron claims that your money will soon be worthless, so you should send it to him so that he can spend it on renewing his Internet advertising campaign. However, economists are now worried about the "D"-word -- deflation, as described in this Nov 6 Times article "The Rising Threat of Deflation".

And what is deflation? It's when currency will buy more, not less. As this economic crisis develops, Weinland's followers who sent their life savings to a false prophet would have been better served to have kept that money to help them through job losses. Instead of having it poured down the rat hole of the Insane Lying False Prophet's apocalyptic fantasies.

False Prophet Ronald Weinland on AOL

False Prophet Ronald Weinland stated recently that he was going to resume advertising on Google. But attempts to find sponsored links for his "the-end.com" website from different Google search terms were fruitless.

Checking Alexa showed that something is going on. Traffic to Weinland's website decreased dramatically in June when he changed to the second timeline and cut his advertising budget. But suddenly in early October it picked up again.

It seems that Weinland is going after another demographic -- that of AOLers. A visit to AOL Search and trying out some keywords resulted in sponsored links to Weinland's website for his book.

Interestingly, a search on the keywords "False Prophet Ronald Weinland" resulted in a hit, as shown here. Searches for "2012" and "economic collapse" also return sponsored links.

I'm surprised that the volume from AOL is nearly as high now as it was from his Google campaign earlier in the year. Please keep your eyes open to see if there are other sources referring links to "the-end.com".

Refail Ron, Weinland's Third Thunder

False Prophet Ronald Weinland wrote the following on page 97 of his fiction epic "2008 God's Final Witness":
"The Third Thunder is the growing destructiveness from weather."
And on page 115:
"During the Sixth Seal, all Seven Thunders will be getting progressively louder."

According to Weinland, the Sixth Seal started on September 11, 2001. And it ends when the Seventh Seal opens. Weinland has set two dates for the Seventh Seal opening: (1) March 18, 2008 and (2) November 14, 2008 -- this coming Friday. The second date was set after the Great Tribulation failed to materialise in accordance with Weinland's first timeline.

Whichever of these two dates you want to look at, the Third Thunder prophecy failed even before the beginning of the year. In his book written in 2006, the Insane Liar mentioned Hurricane Katrina as the costliest natural disaster in US history. If the Third Thunder was getting progressively louder, the disaster bill would be higher in each succeeding year.

Yet when I visited the National Climatic Data Center for statistics on the disaster bill, I found the following chart:

Looking at the blue and red lines, the damage cost decreased in 2006 and decreased further in 2007. Looking at the red line which adjusts for inflation, the damage costs in 2006 and 2007 were lower than that for 2001 when the Sixth Seal supposedly opened.

So much for a progressively louder thunder. This one failed even before the beginning of 2008. And it failed before the beginning of 2007, when Weinland asked his followers to dig deep to support his apocalyptic fantasies. Too bad they didn't study his book carefully and look for verification before turning over their life savings to a false prophet.

Refail Ron, Weinland's Second Thunder

Continuing my series on False Prophet Ronald Weinland's refailed prophecies concerning the Seven Thunders of the Sixth Seal defined in his book "2008 God's Final Witness, I address Weinland's Second Thunder: earthquakes.

On pages 95-96 of his book Weinland defines the Second Thunder and mentions the tsunami of December 2004. Then he went on to state:
"The greatest destruction and loss of life from earthquakes is the direct result of collapsing buildings or the power unleashed in the form of a tsunami. Volcanoes are also associated with
earthquakes. All these things will continue to wreak havoc on man and nature in an ever increasing magnitude as we approach the very end of this age."

There have been destructive earthquakes since the tsunami. The most recent event that comes to mind was the earthquake in China last spring. But nothing of that significance comes to mind since then. Nothing in the headlines that I read.

On page 96 of his book, Weinland continued on to write:
"All Seven Thunders will increase in power and recognition over the next two years (from the date of the first printing of this book) and on into the final three and one-half years of great tribulation."

Not trusting my memory, I went to the US Geological Survey website and downloaded their earthquake data since Nov of 2006, which is shortly before Weinland's tome was published. Using Excel I generated the chart below.

This chart shows a dot for each event, with the horizontal axis being the date and the vertical axis being the magnitude of the earthquake. Each unit of magnitude increases in intensity by a factor of 10. While events of magnitude 5 and higher are shown, earthquakes of magnitude 6 will damage only poorly constructed buildings.

Clicking on the chart should show a larger version. Looking at the data, if there is any kind of trend over the last two years it is that earthquakes have decreased in magnitude, at least the most powerful ones. For sure, there's no increase in the second thunder, no increase in power or recognition.

With less than a week remaining before the second end of the Sixth Seal, we can clearly see that the Second Thunder (Earthquakes) has not been getting progressively louder as Ron prophelied. Yet another failed prophecy.

"Second end of the Sixth Seal?" you might ask. Per Weinland's current timeline, the Sixth Seal ends on November 14 when the Seventh Seal is opened. But the Insane Liar's current timeline is his second timeline. In his first timeline, the Seventh Seal opened on March 18th.

The only ones who have ears to hear this thunder are those who have given their life savings to the False Prophet in the false hope that they will be sealed as part of the 144,000. The actual number of COG-PKG members who have been sealed is a big fat goose egg. Zilch.

Refail Ron, Weinland's First Thunder

On page 115 of "2008 God's Final Witness", False Prophet Ronald Weinland prophesied:

"During the Sixth Seal, all Seven Thunders will be getting progressively louder. Before the Seventh (and final) Seal is opened, the Seven Thunders will become so pronounced that the validity of everything written about them in the previous chapter should roar loudly in the ears of anyone who is willing to admit the truth."

According to Weinland, the Sixth Seal was opened when the World Trade Center was destroyed on September 11, 2001. Also according to Weinland, the Seventh Seal opens in just over a week, on November 14. Actually it reopens since the Seventh Seal was first opened by Weinland on March 18th.

What does "progressively louder" mean? It could only mean that each peal of thunder is louder or more intense that was the previous. So if a thunder sounded loudly several years ago and then softer after that, then it's not getting progressively louder

Weinland's Fourth Thunder is Global Economic Upheaval. With the events of the past few weeks, we'll give him that one. Does that mean that we should recognize Ronald Weinland as a true prophet of God? Only if everything he's prophesied has come true. Including all the remaining six thunders.

On pages 92-93 of "2008 God's Final Witness", Weinland prophelied"
"Since 9/11, we have seen more rumblings from the “terror of war.” There are continuous rumblings on a lesser scale as al-Qaeda operatives strike at various times and places in the
world. However, as time passes, they will strike with far greater power than 9/11. At this time, the beginning rumblings of war are coming from Iran and will lead into greater global terror."

While there has been terrorism since 9/11, there has been no event comparable to 9/11, much less an event with "far greater power". For a time terrorism against US citizens increased as Bush mismanaged his inappropriate war in Iraq and our soldiers that he put in harm's way suffered as a result. But even that has decreased since he has listened to new advisors and managed the war better. Al-Qaeda is boxed up and is not able to repeat what it did on 9/11. Even if this is wrong and within the next week precipitate another event that overshadows 9/11, it's still a failure. Progressively getting louder doesn't mean one peal at the beginning of the Sixth Seal and another loud peal at the end with a few softer peals in between.

If Iran is indeed attempting to develop nuclear weapons, they're not there yet. While there were accusations of Iranian involvement in the Iraqi insurgence, they've hardly inflicted global terror.

So we have to give Ron a fail on the First Thunder. Actually we have to give him a Refail, since the Seventh Seal was originally opened on March 18th, and November 14th is a Rescheduled date due to failures of other post-Seventh Seal prophecies.

Refail Ron. The only ones with ears to hear this one are afflicted with tinnitus.

Ronald Weinland: "I Don't Know"

False Prophet Ronald Weinland gave yesterday's sermon from the Detroit/Toledo area. He may be taking his post-feast vacation a bit later this year as Matthews is coming to the US a week early for the elders conference to deliver the sermon next Saturday. Ron must have booked his travel as he definitely will be in London on the 29th and in Belgium/Netherlands the first weekend of December.

The False Prophet will be on ABC later this month, on the Compass program on November 23. The "A" in "ABC" stands for Australian, not American. This program may have been recorded back in January or February on Weinland's first trip of the year down under. It appears that the ABC doesn't get Ron, as they describe him as Pentecostal. Any Australian readers are invited to watch the program in 3 weeks and report on how Ron is treated.

This was the second of his "Resolve with Zeal" series. He again beat his members with the stick of no guarantee that any besides the Two Witlesses were actually sealed, to be wary of being Laodicean.

The focus returned to prophecy, with the reopening of the 7th seal on November 14 less than 2 weeks from now. He did some backpedaling on "no new president will take office in January" claiming that this was not a prophecy.

The blame is shifted to the members, that they expect him to be a fortune teller -- that's not his job. The members are set up for the failure of the second timeline with the statement that the 2nd trumpet may not blow for a year, with the challenge that they wouldn't have enough faith to stay with him. They were reminded that half of COG-PKG would have left if Ron had not "been permitted by God" to reveal the 50th "truth" in June instead of having to wait until the Feast of Trumpets. Ron forgives those of his members who talked about him and the failures of his first timeline, but they were actually speaking against God. Will COG-PKG members pass the tests to come? (The tests being the refailure of Weinland's prophecies.)

The message of fear was reiterated with the billions to die in the next few years. Ron continues to use fear, challenge, and blame to keep his members in line and sending in their tithes, including 3/4 of their second tithe. Yet another year of reaping tithes.
